Lacy & Lovely Shoebox Swap and a bit more!

A few friends of mine got together yesterday afternoon for a Shoebox Swap using the Lacy & Lovely stamp set from Stampin’Up! We created four designs and a little surprise in the mix.

If you don’t know what a Shoebox Swap is let me explain… For a Shoebox Swap you design a card and then put all the materials used to create this card in a Shoebox or something similar so that it can be passed around to other participants and they can create your card. Depending on how many participants the Shoebox gets passed around or the participants move to a different spot for the next Shoebox. Makes sense? It’s lots of fun to see what other stampers come up with and you have everything you need in the box!

Well enough about the explaining and let me show you what we created:

And we had a surprise design by Debi! She forgot the stamp set that was selected and chose a stamp from the “Best Of” stamp sets. She also used the Bleach Technique which was really cool to use. I will post this technique shortly so that you can try it.

Hope you like them and try your own Shoebox Swap with friends. If you live in the Central Orlando area in Florida you can contact me and we can set up a local Shoebox Swap!
