Hello I am getting back into stampin but I have a limited budget since I am still pretty young. I was wondering what you would recommend me buying as a good starting out kit. I really want some inspiration! I am stuck right now, I cant think of any new card ideas…
Hi Elsie, since you mentioned you on a limited budget my best advise would be to purchase a card kit and coordinating stamp set. On page 198 of the annual catalog there are a few samples of these kits for under $25. If you have clear blocks they are even more economical. You can contact me via email or phone and I will be happy to make additional suggestions and get a catalog in the mail to you. When you purchase any of these kits or any other stamp set in the catalog I can send many samples and inspiration to get you started and more!
I almost forgot, you can also purchase one of our Note & Card sets (20) for $5.95 on page 194 and a single stamp Vivid Vases on page 167 for $11.95. All you need to do is stamp it once on the card and then on a patterned paper, cut out the vases on the patterned paper and adhere it to the vases on your card. This way you can get color on your card without having to invest in additional ink. I hope this helps!
Thank you so much! I would love a catalog. I have one from 2010 that I always refer to for inspiration, although it’s hard when you don’t own any of the stamps! I think I want to purchase a kit. Do they have them online too since I don’t yet have a catalog.
