Posted by Let me start off by saying that I finished my year sick in bed with a really bad cold and virus that was lurking in my body for a few weeks. As soon as the cold weakened my immune system the virus took over and weakened my body. Plenty of rest and downtime along with minimal medication has helped me recover. Enough on my health because now that I’m feeling a lot better I’m ready to start the new year with new ideas!
My plan was to catch up on my videos and projects so I’m just going to have to carve out some time and for that later on this month. There are so many stamp sets that I love from the Occasions catalog but a few are my top favorites. A couple of them are Beautiful You & High Tide. They were both used to create the card below.
I used a few techniques for this card and plan to show them in my upcoming Technique Class so this will be one of the cards my stampers will be making. My goal is to make a video demonstrating these techniques.

Caryl, I sponged the sunrise using a piece of vellum and moving around the water. I haven’t had a chance to make a video yet but hope to soon.
