Vellum Cardstock Magic & Free PDF

Did you know that when you scratch Vellum Cardstock (101856) it turns white in addition to puffing up that area? Using this technique will give your projects and cards a very beautiful and unique look. I taught my stampers this technique during my recent technique class and they made 2 beautiful cards.

You can download a Free PDF of the Lilypad Lake Crane card below.

With the stylus, you can lightly scratch the back side of the stamped image. Doing this will raise/puff up that area while turning the vellum cardstock white.

You can leave the image as is when it’s done or color it in with Stampin’ Blends or Stampin’ Write Markers.

Hip Hop Hooray, for the First Technique Class 9 Came to Play!

Andrea, Pat, Lois, Arlene, Deborah, Carmen, Diane, Kelly, and Amelia all had a great time stamping at my first Technique Class of the year.

This Technique Class was mainly about inspiration. Inspiration is all around us and I found this cute Hedgehog which inspired me to make this card.

I can’t help but browse the card section when I’m in a store and I saw this cute heartbeat card that inspired me to make my own.

I didn’t need much inspiration to make a card using the newest Stampin’ Up! tool the Stamparatus and how could I resist making this adorable Bunny card!

I recorded a video for this card and will post as soon as I’m done editing.

Sometimes we spend a lot of time trying to come up with an idea for a card and we forget to just look around us and get inspired.

Sing Deck the Halls and So Much More!

My stampers were singing while they were making these awesome Eclipse Technique cards. They were literally singing, I had the 70’s music station on and there was a lot of singing!

I just love this technique and the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) was the perfect match! This pack of paper has musical notes and the words to a few Christmas songs in Black on White and White on Black. We didn’t stop at musical notes, my stampers also made a FALL card.

This was my 2nd version of the card, below was my first.

I decided to go for the simpler, crisp look but a couple of my stampers loved the sponge version and made that one.

I was also playing around with this one.

After SINGing a song or two and FALLing for the other cards it was time for a cats and flowers!

This card was inspired by Sue Campfield, I love the hidden cat in the flowers.
