Technique Card Class & Blendabilities!

This past Saturday I gave a Technique Card Class and we made 3 awesome cards. I taught the Dry Embossed Vellum Technique from Stamping School. I gave everyone the option to pick their favorite 2014-2016 In-Color card stock, and I love they way the came out!

You will need a stylus, foam pad and wax paper. Stamp your image on the vellum card stock (you need a sturdy vellum card stock) with Staz On, let it dry for about 30 seconds. Turn the image on the opposite side rub the area with wax paper for smooth strokes, then using the stylus rub in circular motion to pop out the flowers.

Another great card from Stamping School is this Lattice Card,

The last card we made was one I saw online but I can’t remember from where to give them credit. Using all the new In Colors and the Work of Art stamp set from the new catalog we stamped the paint strokes and then added some butterflies. A simple yet colorful card!

Everyone loved the cards!

Before my class I played with my new Blendabilities markers that will be available on June 2nd and had a blast blending colors with the Blended Bloom stamp (also in the new catalog).

Blend Flowers

My first attempt was the Cherry Cobbler bloom and as you can see I got better with the rest of them. I’ll have to try the Cherry Cobbler one more time!
