What did you do on World Card Making Day?

World Card Making Day (WCMD) is held each year on the first Saturday of every October, and kicks-off the start of the holiday card-making season. It’s a day for the card-making community, all of us; hobbyists, retailers, and manufacturers. We can unite and celebrate the connection and creativity that is the heart of card-making.

For the past 3 years my friends and I (Stampin’ Amigas) have been hosting a World Card Making Day event in Oviedo, FL. We had 50 stampers stamping away making their greeting cards and having loads of fun! Each stamper made 8 cards (see below) and we gave away over 20 door prizes. We also raffled off all the products on a page of the Annual Stampin’ Up catalog.

In addition to the WCMD activities a few stampers and all my Stampin’ Amigas wore Pink to #StandUpToCancer and #JoinTheFlock!

Here are the cards our stampers made on WCMD:

  1. The cards are really nice. Sorry I had to miss it but was in NE to see my brother and his family and to take in a NE football game.
