I had four wonderful ladies at my card class this past Saturday and we made 5 sets of simply awesome cards using a semi-monochromatic theme. Sometimes the simple things stand out the most!

Have a create day!
My Paper Pumpkin arrived yesterday and my friend Deb and I started playing with them. Here’s just a sneak peek of what we made. Later on I’ll post all that’s included and some more samples including alternative ideas.
My niece Michelle Ugalde is a very talented photographer (check out her Facebook Page) so needless to say for her daughter’s first birthday cake she had a Smash Cake photo shoot. I printed the pictures and made a flip photo album (learned at my friend Vilmarie Maldonado’s class). By the way, my niece borrowed my cake plate and we dyed the ribbon with Tempting Turquoise ink to match her theme. I hope you like the finished product!

19 years ago today I married the love of my life and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him!
Happy Anniversary to my husband Darren & me!
This is the card I made for him, it was part of swaps that I made but of course his was personalized down to the envelope!
And yes, we got married on April Fool’s Day but neither one of us married a fool!
Yesterday I attended a demonstrator get together where we gave demonstrations, shared ideas and swapped cards. Below a just a few of the creative ideas that were on display, I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
Tomorrow I will share the cards we swapped and some of the cards we made.
