Team Meeting and Swap

This past Saturday I held my monthly Team Meeting with my downline and as usual, I forgot to take a picture of our fabulous team! We were a total of 11 team members and we had a great time learning and sharing with each other. We worked on a project and a few of us also swapped cards. We were a total of 5 who participated in the swap, take a look at the great variety of cards.

Tina’s swap. She did a great job combing the Waterfront stamp set with Thinlits from the Seasonal Layers set.

My swap was an inspired/cased layout by Brandy Cox I stamped the greeting from the Friendly Conversation stamp set on Whisper White cardstock then the spotlighted words on matching cardstock. I cut them down and glued over the Whisper White piece.

Maria’s swap. Maria used one of the Hostess stamp sets (Hand Delivered) to make this cute graduation card.

Carmen’s swap. Carmen combined the Woodland Embossing Folder with the Still Night stamp set and matching Night Owl Thinlits from the Holiday catalog for this stunning card.

Deborah’s swap. I love the colors Deborah used in this card! She combined the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder to bring out the flowers from the Tropical Chic Bundle.

If you would like to participate in my Team Meetings you can! Just join HERE for $99 and you get to pick $125 of products to customize your own starter kit. Then let the fun begin!

Clearance Rack…What a Terrible Thing to Waste!

These are 12 sheets, 2 each of 6 double-sided designs which include potions, pumpkins, witches’ hats, cats, and eerie trees; this Halloween-themed Designer Series Paper has it all!

I’m actually using this for my upcoming Halloween Shadowbox Class, how great is that! I’ll post a picture of the finished product later on with details.

Ignore the mess in the background, OMG!

Take a look at the Clearance Rack every so often to check out the latest products added at fantastic prices!

Orlando Science Center…Success!

I was so thrilled to be invited to participate in the Makers in Residence program at The Hive in the Orlando Science Center. Four of my team members (Tina, JoAnn, Maria and Sofia) were able to join me in this great opportunity to meet new people and share what we love! My niece Reina, also got in the action demonstrating a Make & Take for a friendship bracelet she designed.

Below are a few pictures of today’s event.

Reina and me after setting up my Make and Take table, I was very busy with lots of guests wanting to make bookmarks.

JoAnn and Tina ready and waiting for guests

Maria and Sofia just finished setting up here, also waiting for the guests to arrive

They started trickling in and we started demonstrating!

Reina was busy with a guest who in addition to making the friendship bracelet also made a friendship ring

Young, young at heart, male and females all enjoyed making our Make and Takes!

Most of the guest fathers waited patiently for their turn

We were all kept busy!

We had a great time and the Science Center was very pleased with the Make and Takes that they have us on the top of the list for future similar events!

Who Doesn’t Love Dandelion Wishes?

As I child I used to love picking dandelions and blowing on them while making a wish. Now as an adult I love making cards with the Dandelion Wishes stamp set!

See below for product list and a Free PDF print out.

I recently held a Stamp-A-Stack class and one of the cards my stampers made was using the Dandelion Wishes stamp set along with the Love What You Do stamp set. Using the same materials and dimensions you can change the look of a card slightly or give it a whole new look. Here are the samples of the cards they made with two different color cardstock. What I love about this card is that you can use any color and it will look great.
