I can’t wait until I get mine in the mail, it seems like I’m one of the last ones to receive it.

Weekly Deals…More Than Just Stamps!

Weekly LOGOThe deals for this week are a variety of containers of a sort. We have boxes, bags and cups in addition to few other helpful products. Don’t wait too long if you like them, the deal ends on Monday, March 9th.

Weekly Deals Ending December 3oth!

A little bit of everything this week, we have three Wood-Mount Stamp Sets to add to your collection at a reduced price.

Holiday Cards… the Beginning!

Yesterday was the first class featuring holiday cards. These cards were made using ideas directly from Stamping School. I had 10 happy stampers making these beautiful cards, I was so busy I forgot to take pictures of the group!

Click on the cards for a closer view and on the stamp set or embellishments for additional information.

You really can’t tell in the picture but the 1st, 3rd & 5th trees were punched out and the Designer Series Paper is showing through. The 2nd & 4th trees were stamped, punched out and popped up. We also added some embellishments with Frosted Sequins, Rhinestones and Pearls.

For this card we blended the colors, first we inked up the stamp with Crushed Curry then used Sponge Daubers to add Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive ink to the stamp before stamping on to Whisper White Card Stock. We added a couple of embellishments to complete the look.

Sometimes you like part of a stamp but you wish it had a different sentiment, problem solved!  For this card we changed the whole sentiment of the stamp by covering the middle with another stamp set. We also used the Blendabilities Markers Cherry Cobbler Assortment to color the Rhinestones for the perfect color match!

I hope you love these cards as much as the ladies in my class did. If you’re local come to one of my classes and you can make lovely cards just like this! Just click on the “RSVP” link on the right side of this blog.

Curves You Will Love!

On page 11 of the Holiday Catalog you will notice the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Die, to be totally honest I wasn’t crazy about it in the beginning and then I found all these awesome alternative uses on the web and Pintrest. Eva Bussom made the tea light box, Lynn Starz made the Santa box, Debbie Henderson made the pumpkin box and BJ Peters made the witch box. Take a look at the video below and see how it’s made.

Weekly Deals, Beautiful Samples & More!

Weekly 8-19

They did it again, some of my favorite products are on sale this week! The Elegant Butterfly Punch, Edgelits Die and Honeycomb Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Below are a few cards we made during my most recent Technique Card Class. For this class I showed how you can use your Embossing Folder for much more than embossing. If you ink up your folder with a brayer (102395-$12.50) you can use your embossing folder like a stamp. Just place your card stock in the folder and gently rub. The ink will transfer on to the card stock and you can repeat as long as you still have ink on the folder. When the ink runs out add ink again.

I love the beautiful Elegant Butterfly Punch in each of the cards, I also used the Bitty Butterfly punch to layer on top. These cards featured the Kinda Eclectic Stamp Set (135350-Clear Mount or 135347-Wood Mount)
