As promised here is the Christmas card we made at my Stamp-A-Stack this past weekend. I couldn’t decide on which background to use and actually took a pole and it was almost right down the middle so I gave everyone the choice for their cards.
Which did you like better?
I usually start my Fall and Christmas Stamp-A-Stack classes in September but since I will be on vacation during the September timeframe I decided to get started earlier in August. Here is the Fall card we made.
Yes, it’s a thank you card but I used the new Fall Lighthearted Leaves stamp set from the upcoming Holiday Catalog. I found the color layout on Pintrest from Kylie Bertucci. I love the new Fine-Tip Glue Pen also from the Holiday Catalog, it makes adding glue to the greetings thinlits a breeze!
Once a month I hold a Stamp-A-Stack class/workshop in my stamping studio and I wanted to share the cards we made. The card designs were CASEd/inspired from the Stampin’Up! catalog samples. If you don’t know what CASE means it’s; Copy And Share Everything. In the stamping community we love to share what we do and it’s an honor when someone cases your card! That being said, these were my versions of the catalog samples.
You can find a similar version on page 15 of the catalog
A sample of this card is on page 129 of the annual catalog as a Quick & Easy card.
Cathy & Minako, top right corner
I had two new stampers in my stamping studio for this class, Minako Holdum and Cathy Giardina Hansbrough.
