My sister asked me to make a wedding card to coordinate with a wedding invitation she received. I thought this would be an excellent opportunity to use the Wood Texture Designer Series Paper Pack (144177) I love so much.
Here’s a photo of the invitation…
And here’s the wedding card I made…
A look with the flaps open
The lighting makes the inside flaps look different but they both match the middle wood texture.
Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the back of the card before giving it to my sister. I added a pocket for a notecard where she wrote a little note and added a gift card.
Stampin’ Blends are coming and you can order your Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers in just a couple of days. They go on sale on November 1st! Take a look at the videos below to learn how to use them and see how amazing they are. They can really make your stamped images pop!

My daughter Nicole will be celebrating her 30th birthday this week. My gift to her was a mother-daughter trip to Seattle, WA. We arrived yesterday and we’re in love with Seattle, the weather, the views, the people! We didn’t waste any time and started walking around downtown after we settled into our hotel. We made it to the Space Needle which had impressive and breathtaking views. Our next stop was the Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibit and all I can say is Oh My Chihuly! The colors, the light in the colors, everything! I’m sharing a few of the many photos I took in the Glass Garden.

I feel so inspired to color!
This morning we went on a Food Tour at Pike Market Place and savored many delicious bites. I’ll share some more in my next post.
Paper Pumpkin made it easy for you to get ‘er done with October’s Pining for Plaid kit—which will arrive on your doorstep in plenty of time for assembling and holiday giving. The cards are a snap to put together; plus, you’ll get an immediate dose of the Christmas spirit as you enjoy this kit’s rustic pine trees, shimmering “snowflakes,” and merry greetings.
My stampers were singing while they were making these awesome Eclipse Technique cards. They were literally singing, I had the 70’s music station on and there was a lot of singing!
I just love this technique and the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) was the perfect match! This pack of paper has musical notes and the words to a few Christmas songs in Black on White and White on Black. We didn’t stop at musical notes, my stampers also made a FALL card.
This was my 2nd version of the card, below was my first.
I decided to go for the simpler, crisp look but a couple of my stampers loved the sponge version and made that one.
I was also playing around with this one.
After SINGing a song or two and FALLing for the other cards it was time for a cats and flowers!
This card was inspired by Sue Campfield, I love the hidden cat in the flowers.
