I recently had my monthly Oviedo Mall Stampers class and it was so much fun to see everyone enjoying themselves and being in the company of old and new friends.
This group have been friends for years and they like to get together every so often to stamp. It was nice to see Katie, Gail, Lisa, Zahira and Karletta.
Now what did these friends stamp? Take a look at the cards below, my friend and fellow Stampin’Up demonstrator Debra LaFountaine designed the following 2 cards.
One of my cards was inspired by Linda Heller from Stamping School who designed this layout with different Designer Series Paper and color combination. I loved the simplicity and elegance of the card so much that I had my Oviedo Mall Stampers make it!
One of my favorite Designer Series Paper Packs is the Serene Scenery and I couldn’t resist using it for this card.
Here’s a look at my second card…
Simplicity was my theme for this class. I used the Mediterranean Moments stamp set for this card. There are so many coloring possibilities but I decided to keep it simple.
I kept it simple but be adventurous and use your imagination to color in the Mediterranean Moments images!
Thank you for stopping by!

Beautiful You…go ahead and create your own!
Let me start off by saying that I finished my year sick in bed with a really bad cold and virus that was lurking in my body for a few weeks. As soon as the cold weakened my immune system the virus took over and weakened my body. Plenty of rest and downtime along with minimal medication has helped me recover. Enough on my health because now that I’m feeling a lot better I’m ready to start the new year with new ideas!
My plan was to catch up on my videos and projects so I’m just going to have to carve out some time and for that later on this month. What’s exciting about this month is that tomorrow all of you have the opportunity to see and purchase products from the new Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs! If you don’t know what Sale-A-Bration is let me explain; for every $50 you purchase from the Annual or Occasions Catalog you get to pick one FREE product from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. Best of all, there are no limits…the more you purchase the more Free products you get!
Watch the video below to see some of the new products.
There are so many stamp sets that I love from the Occasions catalog but a few are my top favorites. A couple of them are Beautiful You & High Tide. They were both used to create the card below.
I used a few techniques for this card and plan to show them in my upcoming Technique Class so this will be one of the cards my stampers will be making. My goal is to make a video demonstrating these techniques.
Check back tomorrow for the links to the new catalogs and if you’re not on my mailing list and would like to receive a catalog just comment below and I’ll get one out to you.
By the way, it’s the last day to order from the Holiday Catalog.
Until next post, take care and have a creative day!
That’s right, I can’t believe I’m saying that I love this journaling kit even more. In addition to a scrapbook, there are so many wonderful things you can create with the December kit. Watch our alternate video for a few more ideas to get you started.
I love the lunch note idea, just a simple note to let someone know you’re thinking of them.
It’s hard to believe that it’s almost time to say goodbye to 2016! It’s also time to document all your memories from the year—enter the December Paper Pumpkin Kit, Another Great Year. This kit makes memory keeping easy and completely customizable. Use the patterned papers, window sheets, stickers, and washi tape to embellish your book. And, for the first time ever—they’ve included a rotary stamp and Basic Black Stampin’ Write® Marker to help you jot down and journal every moment!
I’m not a scrapbooker so I have to admit that I wasn’t totally in love with it but then I realized that this is perfect for my pics from the Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Instant Camera (Shhhh, I haven’t received it yet, it’s a Christmas present but I know I’m getting it!). This camera prints instant credit card size photos and the Paper Pumpkin kit is the perfect place to display them. I’m actually ordering a couple more kits for other family members who have this camera.
We’re going back to instant print and that’s a good thing, because we keep all our digital pictures on our phones, computers and the cloud so it’s nice to have a place to display your favorites and comment on the moment.
That’s right the 2017 Occasions Catalog is almost here! On January 4th you will be able to view and purchase products from the new Occasions catalog. To get you excited about the awesome new products here’s a sneak peak of one of the products.
The Lift me Up and Away coordinating Stamp Set and Thinlits is a fun set with many options. Take a look at the video and see some of the possibilities.
Contact me to receive your copy of the new Occasions Catalog.
I’m going back to when I was in school and there were actually chalkboards in the classrooms. Today the classrooms have whiteboards, no more chalk or chalk dust. When I was in grade school I fantasized about being a teacher and writing on a clean chalkboard with perfect penmanship. Now that’s all in the past because we have whiteboards! But it doesn’t mean we have to abandon the chalkboard look. Take a look at the video below for some Chalkboard Techniques.
So get out your Basic Black card stock, Whisper White Craft Ink and make some chalkboard cards!

A while ago I was excited to become part of Stampin ‘Up’s Leader to Leader (L2L) team. This team consists of a group of Stampin ‘Up! employees and demonstrators like myself who collaborate in coming up with ideas for stamping tools and helping stampers enjoy the art of stamping. Adding to the excitement, one of my classes was selected to feature and try a prototype Stampin ‘Up! has been developing for the past few months!
On Saturday, November 19th I had 13 stampers at my home to use this product in development. Tanner Smedley, Sourcing & Development Specialist and Mike Vanderlinden, E-Commerce Specialist from the Stampin’ Up! home office joined my stampers and I at my Stamp-A-Stack class. We were all very excited to use and play with this prototype and give our feedback. It was an overwhelming positive response and we can’t wait until it’s available for purchase.
Unfortunately I cannot share pictures of the prototype or go into more detail about it and because of this I forgot to take pictures of everyone while they were at my home but here are a couple of pictures before everyone left.
That’s Mike on the far left and Tanner on the far right. We were all busy putting together the cards we made.
Here are the cards:
Here’s Mike giving a one-on-one demonstration.
We had a great time with Mike and Tanner and after everyone was gone they treated my husband Darren and I to a late lunch. They wanted to try something different so we took them to a local Hispanic (Puerto Rican) restaurant called Guavate. They both had a taste of Mofongo and loved it! They are currently on the search for a Latin restaurant in Utah that serves Mofongo.
