How did you celebrate your new year? My immediate family and I choose to stay home and welcome it quietly, this is a big difference from the usual but it was nice. As I checked browsed Facebook and saw how many of my family and friends were celebrating I was happy to see that they were all enjoying themselves!
One of my cousin’s daughter’s even got engaged!
Made with My Digital Studio (MDS)
Here’s wishing them lots of love and a beautiful wedding!

My dear cousin’s daughter Katie recently graduated from the University of Central Florida and UCF allows the students to decorate their graduation caps which makes it easy for their family and friends to spot them. Katie being a literary and Harry Potter fan created this unique cap.
I attending a brunch in Katie’s honor and made a card replicating her graduation cap, or at least I tried to replicate it!
I’m happy to say that Katie was delighted! It only took me four tries before I got it right. I was so concentrated and replicating the letters and not really paying attention to what I was writing that I actually spelled “word” incorrectly! I started out with the letter w & o then followed it with a “d”!
Yikes, I just noticed that I forgot to add the quotation marks at the end!

In May I went to a baby shower in Puerto Rico for my niece Ashly and yesterday she had her son. His name is Ian Roberto Rosado and he is adorable! I made this announcement for her using a template from My Digital Studio.
Welcome to the family Ian!

I’m participating in an organized swap at convention and I had to make 77 card swaps. True to my nature I waited until the last moment and I would have been “Stamping All Night Long” if it wasn’t for my dear husband and son!
Since Stampin’Up! is celebrating their 25th Anniversary the theme for this swap was “25”. I created a half fold card with lots of texture and the numbers 25 in Silver Glimmer paper. I ran about 200 through the Big Shot and now my house is full of Glimmer! Below is a picture of the card I made along with a few pictures of the process and my helpers.
Card Stock: Baked Brown Sugar, Strawberry Slush, Pistachio Pudding, Whisper White, Silver Glimmer
Ink: Melon Mambo, Soft Suede
Framelits: Labels Collection, Die: Typeset Alphabet Bigz
Punch: Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack
Accessories: Rhinestones Basic Jewels, Glue Dots, Demensionals
And now some of the process to get me to the finish line:
Here are my helpers!
Now guess who stayed until the very end!

I asked my husband what he wanted to do for Father’s Day and he said he wanted to go bowling, so bowling we went! My daughter couldn’t join so it turned out to be a Father & Son Bowling Day. As you can see my husband and son have very unique bowling styles. They had a great time formed Life Moment Memories!
My husband ordered a plate of Nachos Grande, they weren’t kidding when they wrote GRANDE on the menu! He was up for the challenge and he made quite a dent!

A friend of mine asked me to hold a workshop/class at her new home. She recently moved to Deltona, Florida with a great view of Lake Monroe. There were a total of six of us and we had a great time visiting and making cards poolside by the lake. Here are the cards we made and a picture of the group, of course I’m the one behind the camera! She’s planning some renovations to her home and we can’t wait to go back to visit and stamp!
From left to right, Brenda (hostess), Vicki, Sarah, Holley and Karletta.
I received a birthday card from Michelle D and loved it so much that I used it for the class. Thanks Michelle!
- Here’s another version of the card. I used the following punches Bitty Butterfly (129406) and Elegant Butterfly (127526). Stamp sets: Papillon Potpourri and Occasions Alphabet (123598) which I love! It has an occasion for every letter.
This card was inspired by Linda Heller’s Stamping School. I used the leaf framelit from the Secret Garden set (129372. First Edition Designer Series paper, Artisan Label Punch (130920), stamp sets: Label Love (130622) and Amazing Family (129192) for the inside of the card.

I was visiting my sister in Puerto Rico and celebrating her daughter Ashly’s baby shower. As Hispanics and Puerto Ricans we celebrate everything big! I made a few favors and decorations using My Digital Studio and my niece’s sister in-law made some awesome displays for the table centerpiece and the gift table.
This was my baby shower gift, 13 Onesies! I designed it on “My Digital Studio” and printed them on iron-on transfer paper. The first one says Just Born in Spanish “Recien Nacido” and the baby’s name. The next 12 have months 1 – 12 on them. An easy way to document each month with a picture!
- The baby shower took place in an event hall (I did mention that we celebrate in a big way) this sign was hung in the entrance.
I made a scrapbook where guest signed in upon entering and could also write some advice for the new parents.
My niece’s sister-in-law made this beautiful display with a few of the gifts. Wow!
The cakes with a few Monkey tags I made.
Cupcakes with more monkey tags.
The congratulations sign was also made with My Digital Studio, it was so easy!
This cute sign says Let’s monkey around and take a photo with my parents, in Spanish of course!
While in Puerto Rico I was able to visit with my father, he was happy to be celebrating the future arrival of another great-grandchild!
Here is one of the table centerpieces in green.
The other table centerpiece in blue.
Here are a few of the favors I made.
My father and niece.
The happy parents!
My sister, niece and my brother-in-law.
