I ended my year with lots of ups and one big down. Christmas was so much fun with all my family, especially with my niece’s children. I love to see little children enjoy the holiday!
This is what my tree looked like. I started a new tradition of adding special photos to my Christmas Tree. My new Christmas theme is black and white buffalo check and adding the black and white photos made it so special!
Cookie Decorating Event
On December 22nd I hosted a Cookie Decorating event for children, another new annual tradition. They had so much fun I can’t wait to do it again!
Here are a few of the Christmas Photos my nieces shared with me.
On Christmas Day my sister Yolanda hosted our annual Christmas Pajama Party! We all get together in the afternoon wearing our pajamas so that the kids can open presents from the Aunts. Again, they had so much fun it fills my heart with joy.
My Big Down & Up!
In November, we got the scary news that my husband had 2 liver tumors and the doctor thought they were cancerous. After several scans, MRIs and bloodwork the prognosis was a lot better. His Oncologist believed that the tumors were benign and scheduled surgery. We decided to wait until December 31st in order not to ruin the Christmas holiday just in case. He is currently recuperating in the hospital and the doctor seems very optimistic. We’re waiting for the results which will take a few days, we are also very optimistic and have lots of people praying for him. We are looking forward to a very positive new year beginning!
Even though we had a big scare and were a little down we decided to focus on the many blessing we have and the love of our family and friends. I hope that your holidays were filled with many happy memories and the new year brings you lots of joy and happiness!
