Posted by This Christmas was full of family fun, cookie decorating and lots of love! First of all we started our celebration a little early because most of my sister’s family is in the restaurant business and had to work on Christmas eve. We usually have a fancy sit down dinner at one of homes but as we did last year and expect to do for the upcoming years we celebrated early. We had a our fancy sit down dinner at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse where my baby sister works. We had a double private room and spent over 4 splendid hours full of fine dinning, family fun and lots of love! We started Christmas morning with one of my favorites, a Christmas Morning Breakfast Casserole. I prepare the casserole the night before and bake it while opening our presents.
I have 8 great-nieces and great-nephews and since I still don’t have any grandchildren of my own I treat them as such. I wanted to let them have some fun decorating Christmas Cookies so I made a Cookie Decorating Station. I saw this idea somewhere on the internet and had to try it. I’m so glad I did because they loved it!
