So it’s time to start the prep work for World Card Making Day and the air-conditioning in my stamping studio dies! For those of you who are not aware, I live in Orlando Florida and it’s hot! With the AC not working it was 86 degrees in there. Time to move the prep work to my kitchen and recruit help!
My friend and fellow stamper Lois Butler came to the rescue and helped me cut card stock , run Edgelits threw the Big Shot and helped me keep my sanity.
This is what it looks like when you move your operation into the kitchen.
A smiling and tired Lois!
Tomorrow I will post the finished result. Again, a huge thanks to Lois!
Well here it is. After hundreds of pieces this is one of the cards my stampers will be making on World Card Making Day. Hope you like!
Well I’m done with the prep work for my first card, come back tomorrow for a look at card.
Now on to the second!
I’m doing the prep work for our World Card Making Day event on October 5th. One of my cards has the word peace on it so I cut out 80 pieces of Peace!
I made the Witch Hat from the Witching Décor Project Kit and I have to say it was a lot of fun to make! It took my about an hour and 45 minutes and it looks just as good as the catalog version, what do you think?
Watch the video below to learn how to put it together.
The Holiday Catalog goes live today! The wait is over and you can finally purchase products from it! I can’t wait to see all the cards and projects you make with them. As a Stampin’Up! demonstrator I was able to purchase the products in August and have been playing with the products for a while. Below is a Christmas card we recreated from Convention during my downline meeting this past Saturday.
Santa was cut out of the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper (139592). It also includes a page of Reindeer! Take a look at the cute cutout on the card!

Tomorrow I will start posting videos highlighting some of the products from the 2015 Holiday catalog!
I usually start my Fall and Christmas Stamp-A-Stack classes in September but since I will be on vacation during the September timeframe I decided to get started earlier in August. Here is the Fall card we made.
Yes, it’s a thank you card but I used the new Fall Lighthearted Leaves stamp set from the upcoming Holiday Catalog. I found the color layout on Pintrest from Kylie Bertucci. I love the new Fine-Tip Glue Pen also from the Holiday Catalog, it makes adding glue to the greetings thinlits a breeze!
What can you make with these products?
Fall is just around the corner so get a head start with this beautiful fall project Vintage Leaves Wreath.
